Digital Speech Therapy Materials

Digital Articulation 4 in a Row for Speech Therapy

Your favorite board game is now digital! We have made a digital articulation 4 in a Row for speech therapy! This 2 player PowerPoint game works great on an iPad or computer. One player uses the yellow tokens and the other is playing the red tokens. Take turns to fill the grid and try to get 4 in a row! I have included interactive buttons that encourage 10 productions of each targeted speech word. The speech targets are represented by clipart inside the grid. Before your student fills a space with their token, have them say the word 10 times. An open-ended game board, with no speech targets on the grid, is also provided for further versatility.

Important Information!

Computer Users

If you are using this on a computer, you will need to open it in the desktop version of PowerPoint (2016 or newer). We can NOT guarantee this will work in the browser-based web app version of PowerPoint on a computer.

iPad Users

If you are using this on an iPad you will need to open it in the free iPad app version of PowerPoint. No paid 365 subscription is needed for this game when played on an iPad.

Teletherapy Use

To play this game in teletherapy you need to open the game on your computer and then share your screen within your teletherapy platform. Then IF your platform allows it you can share mouse controls so the student can interact with the game. This step is NOT essential, you can still use these in a fun engaging way without giving mouse controls, you can just interact with the game for the student. In this situation I have the student tell me what to choose and when to do certain things in the game. It helps them maintain a sense of control and participation.
