IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Windows Computer Users

You can use any of the games on this page. The most interactive for you would be the games that are under the ‘Windows PowerPoint’ heading. These are macro-enabled games and require PowerPoint 2016 or later. However, you can also use the Mac version in PowerPoint or Google slides. The PDF versions will also work for you. Each set comes with an editable and open-ended option with the spinner for moving spaces and speech productions. There is a different tutorial video for each verison.

Mac Computer Users

You can choose to download the ‘Mac Version’ or the ‘PDF version’.  This version can be opened in PowerPoint or google slides. Just like the windows version, this includes moveable game pieces and an editable interactive dice spinner is included so you can add your targets under the buttons. A full tutorial is included to explain how to use these. The PDF version can also be used in a PDF reader if you prefer to use annotation tools for game pieces.

iPad Users

You can choose to download the ‘Mac Version’ or the ‘PDF version’.  The ‘Mac Version’ can be opened in PowerPoint or Google Slides on your iPad (if you don’t have a PowerPoint sign in to allow editing, then use google slides, it’s free). You will then be able to use the drag and drop game pieces. You then use a real dice instead of the digital dice spinner.

The PDF version can also be used in a PDF reader app like Apple Books. You can then lay your iPad on the table and use real game counters and a dice to play.

Teletherapy Use

To play these games in teletherapy you need to open the game (and digital dice if applicable) on your computer (use the info above to help you decide which game version to use) and then share your screen within your teletherapy platform. Then IF your platform allows it you can share mouse controls so the student can move their own game piece. This step is NOT essential, you can still use these in a fun engaging way without giving mouse controls, you can just move the game piece for the student. In this situation I have the student tell me when to spin the spinner and when to stop it. It helps them maintain a sense of control and participation in the game.

WINDOWS USERS: If you are using the Windows version you NEED to make sure you don’t move the game off your main monitor! If you have 2 monitors make sure the game is on your main monitor when in present mode. If you want to be able to move the game off your main monitor then use the Mac or PDF versions available below instead, they will work for you.
