Guess the Person Digital Speech Teletherapy Game

This Guess the Person Teletherapy Game for Speech Therapy is so much fun! You can use this game in teletherapy on a computer, or you can use it in-person on a computer!

This PowerPoint game is formatted to be editable so you can add your own targets to show up on the game flaps! There is also an opened ended version included. I have also included pre-made articulation photo cards for many phonemes, but you can also add any images you like. You can also add written questions if you prefer that format.

Please note this is not a ‘no-prep’ game! You can play open-ended without any prep, but if you want your targets to show up on the game flaps, you will have to spend a few minutes adding your targets each time you want to create a new version. BUT then you can save that game and use it over and over again in therapy without having to make it again. You can make as many versions as you like with any targets you like!

GUESS THE PERSON TELETHERAPY GAME FOR SPEECH THERAPY

How Game Play Works:
  1. Players hide their person under the colored squares. These are the people the other player will ask about.
  2. Players take turns asking questions to eliminate people from their board. e.g. ‘is your person wearing glasses’?
  3. Then the player clicks the appropriate faces to bring down the yellow flap.
  4. Eventually, one player will guess the other player’s person and will win the game.

Important Information!

Computer Users

You will need to open this game in the desktop version of PowerPoint (2016 or newer). We can NOT guarantee this will work in the browser-based web app version of PowerPoint on a computer. This game works in PowerPoint for Mac and Windows.

iPad Users

This game can not currently be played on an iPad. For an unknown reason, it causes the PowerPoint app to shut down. Please note that in the tutorial video I may mention it works on an iPad, but it doesn’t.

Teletherapy Use

To play these games in teletherapy you need to open the game on your computer and then share your screen within your teletherapy platform. Then IF your platform allows it you can share mouse controls so the student can interact with the game. This step is NOT essential, you can still use these in a fun engaging way without giving mouse controls, you can just interact with the game for the student. In this situation I have the student tell me what to choose and when to do certain things in the game. It helps them maintain a sense of control and participation.
