Speech Trials Counter: Click the number buttons to count off your speech trials. The trial counter in the bottom right corner will keep track of how many speech trials your student has completed. This visual aid helps both the therapist and the child monitor their progress.
Curtain Up: Every ten clicks, a magical “Curtain Up” button will appear. Click it to raise the curtain and reveal a small portion of a delightful Halloween-themed surprise hidden behind it. And what’s hiding there, you ask? Spooky and adorable Halloween-themed cupcakes!
Cupcake Delight: After lifting the curtain five times (which amounts to 50 speech trials), the full Halloween-themed cupcake will be unveiled in all its glory! Each cupcake serves as a fantastic motivator, allowing for 50 additional speech trials.
More Cupcakes Await: But the fun doesn’t stop there! With a total of 10 unique cupcakes to discover, your young learners can enjoy up to 500 speech trials in a single session! To begin revealing the next cupcake hit the ‘reveal next ‘ button that will pop up in the top right of the game.
Pair It with a Game: While this activity can be used on its own, we love to pair it with a fun-themed online game on a split screen. This combination keeps the sessions dynamic and engaging, ensuring your students are excited to participate.
